What Is NEAR Protocol (NEAR)?
Designed as a community-run cloud computing platform, the NEAR Protocol is a layer-one blockchain that eliminates some of the limitations of competing blockchains, such as slow transaction speeds, low throughput, and poor interoperability.
The platform provides an ideal environment for DApps and is developer- and user-friendly. NEAR, for instance, uses human-readable account names, instead of the cryptographic addresses that Ethereum users commonly use. As well as solving scaling problems, NEAR has its own consensus mechanism called “Doomslug.”
NEAR Protocol is being developed by NEAR Collective, its community group updated the original code and released updates to the ecosystem. Their goal is to create a platform that is “secure enough to handle high-value assets like money and identity, and performant enough to make them usable for everyday people.”
Examples of projects being built on NEAR Protocol are Flux, a protocol that allows developers to create markets based on assets, commodities, and real-world events, and Mintbase, an NFT minting platform.
Erik Trautman founded NEAR Protocol, an entrepreneur with Wall Street experience and founder of Viking Education. The company’s co-founders were Illia Polosukhin, who had worked at Google for over three years, and Alexander Skidanov, an engineer who had worked at Microsoft and later joined memSQL. The NEAR Protocol team is comprised of several ICPC gold medalists and ICPC winners. According to the team, it possesses members with real-world experience building scaled-out sharded systems, which is a solution it is seeking to improve blockchain scalability.
Klever Swap
Klever Swap is a core service of the Klever app that makes it simpler, faster, and more convenient for our users to exchange cryptocurrencies at the click of a button. By monitoring live price action on top-tier exchanges, our native Swap engine creates a price index that is used by the Swap.
The swap itself is conducted by fully autonomous bots, built and maintained in-house by Klever’s developers’ team. These bots continuously seek the best exchange rate and prices among the top exchanges, and then execute the Swap with high precision, security and speed. The Klever Swap project is part of Klever Exchange.
