Conferences in Switzerland do attract a lot of attention. From 13 to 15 January 2023, a global conference on cryptocurrency will be held in Zurich for a global audience.
The privately organized cryptocurrency conference, World Crypto Conference 2023 will discuss the future of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance (DeFi), Metaverse, Web 3, and much more.
Bringing crypto people together
It comes at a time when the crypto market is undergoing a lot of churning – from regulations to the development of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), stablecoins, and the very popular tokens that claim to solve various social problems.
Some of the popular use cases are tokens solving global remittance problems, charity services focused on special use cases like the environment, and others.
The conference will bring people from different branches of the crypto sector to one platform, where they will deliberate on how to make crypto more accessible to citizens and governments.
Topics that will be discussed on the second day of the conference are namely, NFTs and real applications from connecting NFTs to consumers goods; DeFi’s risks, benefits, challenges, and opportunities; How are the P2E games are changing the gaming industry; Real use case scenarios of Metaverse from galleries, shopping malls & more.
Delegates at the conference on the second day will also discuss Web 3.0 product developments and the gaps in the market; Stablecoin usage in real life from regulation and traditional finance approach; the Road to the mass adoption of Defi and how to distribute ownership of the real estate and governance in real estate decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
The conference will focus on Decentralization as the future
Speaking on this, event organizer Gabriele Pauliukaite said that in the next 5-10 years, most of the services will be decentralized and this transformation towards the ownership economy will not only affect the financial markets but move to all other areas of businesses: hospitality, insurance or even the gastronomy industry.

Pauliukaite stressed.
On the final day, the conference will discuss how to build Web 3 and its tools; deliberating on decentralized insurance, borrowing, and lending; discussing on providing financial freedom with the help of Defi by bridging traditional finance, and wealth management with Centralized Finance (CeFi) & DeFi; celebrating women in the crypto industry with their expertise in DeFi, NFT & Metaverse; marketing strategies for new crypto startups and how cryptocurrencies will change Switzerland in the coming years.
The event will also include a pitch competition for new startups that are working in the crypto space to pitch in front of well-known venture capitalists (VCs) and investors from Switzerland and from all over the world.
