Twitter Spaces with the Klever team is back!
And it returned with the right foot as the community had the chance to hear from our KleverNFT team some incredible news and updates about the KleverNFT Marketplace.
During this edition of Twitter Spaces, hosted by Misha Lederman, the company’s Head of Global Communications, and other members of the communications and support team, users were able to hear from Felipe Rieger, Head of NFT, as well as Dio Ianakiara, CEO and co-founder of Klever, about the latest product innovations.
But if you missed it, don’t worry! Not only is the Twitter Spaces recorded but we also highlighted the main topics in this post so you can keep up and never miss a beat with the KleverNFT Marketplace platform.
The long and winding road to release.
Felipe Rieger, head of NFT in the Klever team, shared his excitement with the listeners and talked about the challenging work and commitment of his team members to achieve the final results of the platform.
“In the last four or five weeks we were very busy developing and creating, actually nonstop creating and building. I want to also shout out to my team and colleagues that are doing a great job. You guys are rocking a lot”, he beamed.

Rieger reinforced his excitement of watching what used to be one of his dreams now becoming true: to build with Klever a web3 space, completely on chain.
“My vision is to help the creators to give utility to the collections in the easiest way possible” he said. “So right now, I know that it’s a challenge to create utility NFT collections. I know what it is to develop in Web3, it is not easy. And people that are developing in this time, right now, in these early days, need to be rewarded for that”, he added.
Building in the Web3 is like creating a website in 1994
The early stage of Web3 is still one of the greatest advantages for those who wish to invest in it.
Rieger shared a quick comparison when he said:
“You know, I always joke with my team, that we are just like creating a website like in 1994. We don’t know what’s gonna be this world of web3 in the next 10 years or 15 years from now”.
Felipe also highlighted the huge progress made in such a small amount of time.
“I participated a lot with other chains and I know that the challenge to build trust and to create a reliable chain is not easy and we have [beaten] this challenge, but in such a small time. In such a short period of time we get a platform like this one. It makes me super proud of my team”.
Game-changing protocols
The Head of NFT also made sure he had the new protocols explained to the users; protocols that will give a lot of value to the projects and that are going to be super easy for creators to control.
1. Token Rewards protocol
Rieger explained that this protocol is something like a “revenue sharing of the secondary market to the holders, something that’s gonna be completely on-chain”.
The next update of the KleverChain is going to be able to add up to 10 wallets and select the amount of the percentage of the secondary market directly on chain.
So the KleverNFT team has created a protocol that the creator can add a percentage of the secondary market commissions and greater rights to actually give back to the community.
“You can add directly on the metadata and write on chain inside the contract and the protocol is going to be doing this automatically through the holder” tells Rieger. “So if you get a collection that has token rewards protocol inside the collection as the utility, you just need to be a holder and you can go to the platform and you can claim for those rewards once it’s available. And if you sell the token to the next holder, he’s gonna be able to claim those rewards too. So actually I think this is the first time you can add utility to the NFT collection in a super easy way”.
2. Token Benefits
The second protocol is called Token Benefits protocol: something that you can add inside the contract, also inside the metadata as a creator, and your holders can benefit from them.
As an example, the Humbled Cats team are adding the post token benefit inside the contract so they will be able to create special content for the holders. Once you are a holder of the NFT, you will be able to see the post, participate in some polls and check special content.
“The opportunities are limitless for the creators, and we do it in a very easy way for them”.

Rieger believes this is also game-changing since it is harder to do the same on other chains.
“So I talked with other creators that did something like that before in other chains and it is a very hard situation because you need to snapshot the holders every time, check the wallets, [check] who’s holding the tokens and then later you can do something like that – and these [KleverNFT] protocols make it super easy. The creator doesn’t have to do anything besides going to the platform and creating a post or going to the platform and setting up the rewards”.
KleverChain makes it a lot easier to build your project
As the participants talked about the benefits of building in the KleverChain, Dio Ianakiara, Klever’s CEO and co-founder reinforced the advantage for creators to focus on the business development rather than worrying about coding.
“When creating your project you have to spend time on the user interface, on the user experience and business development instead of thinking about how to build a smart contract to create a new marketplace or something like that”, said Dio. “If the code is already outdated by the Klever team, it will provide a much more reliable solution”.
Dio also talked about the safety of building with the KleverChain.
“When developing a new smart contract application, you spend a lot of time and money, and you’ll never have insurance (…) I think it’s really hard to trust. And when we have this approach that we have internal audits, we have the code that we use for our solutions to solve our problems in production and running in the KleverChain, I think it makes it easier for everyone if you go to the Klever Kapps”.
By using the Klever Kapps, Dio remembered that you could create a token and an NFT and you don’t have to code anything. You can configure your royalties, configure if you’re bidding or not and that everything is on chain activity.
And as proof that KleverChain runs and operates smoothly and easily, the KleverNFT platform itself was built on chain and Rieger also shared his piece about building on it:
“I can do it [develop] very, very easily, you know, and the transactions are so fast. That is a tool that we have that we’re going to show in the coming weeks and months and some other communities are taking years to develop”.
“I think that the creator doesn’t need to focus on the blockchain, you know, they need to focus on the products”.
Felipe Rieger also added an important and final message to all developers and creators who are considering building in web3 but haven’t made up their minds yet.
“I’ve been developing this space for almost 10 years. I met this community in 2016 and I have been building a lot of products all my life. Once I got into the blockchain, it’s something like, you don’t need to create a whole back-end platform because you have the blockchain that works.
It’s something very interesting to build in”.
The Head of KleverNFT also added the importance of having such a project to build with, especially because developing web3 can be a challenging task.
“You know, understanding all of that and understanding your business, your area and also have to deal with all the blockchain, the smart contracts and all this stuff. That’s not easy. I can guarantee it’s not easy to develop on the web3”
About that, Rieger makes a final invitation:
“If you have an opportunity like this, I say to you that you need to try it. You need to join this space and check by yourself, you know? It’s not because I’m inside Klever and I’m one of the faces of the company and I’ve been building for almost two years and directly on Klever… but join this launchpad, go inside the docs, try it by yourself and see it with your eyes.
For now, it’s just, like I was saying, just like we are just resetting the web, the web as we know it, and a lot of things are going to change. Everything is going to change in the next 15 to 20 years.
And I invite all the developers to have this opportunity and to try to build and get it as soon as possible. Because if you want to join this tech world, I think web3 is for you no matter where you live; you are a woman, a man… it doesn’t matter. If you have this opportunity, if you want to build, that’s for you. That’s why I’ve always told the creators to join web3 as soon as possible. That’s a life and game changing opportunity”.
